Laura Jeanne Easter passed away on May 23, 2015 at 3:15 PM at her home in Stony Point, NY after battling a long illness. She had just turned 61 years old two days before.
Born in Cambria-Heights, Queens to Werner and Audrey Hillenberg on May 21, 1954. The family moved to Blauvelt, NY where Laura graduated from Tappan Zee High School and then graduated Dominican College as a registered nurse. She was employed at Nyack Hospital in 1974 where she met her husband of 40 years, Gregory Paul Easter.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lauren of Stony Point, NY, her older sister, Linda Ames of Longwood, Florida, Karen Hulse of Newburgh, NY, her younger brother James Hillenberg of Longwood, Florida, and her mother Audrey Hillenberg of Sanford, Florida, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Laura blessed the Easters' with their only grandchild, Jessica Lauren Easter.
A celebration of her life will be held on June 6 at 11:00am at the Pilgrim Baptist Church, 80 No. Franklin St., Nyack, NY. Donations in her memory may be made to Pilgrim Baptist Church.
