Obituary for Alan Jones

Alan Jones
Alan Jones, 57, of Nyack, NY, passed away in Albany Medical Center on October 28, 2015 peacefully.

Alan was born on October 28, 1958 in Suffern, NY to parents Francis & Alan Jones. Alan grew up in Nyack & graduated from Nyack High School in 1976. He then went to work for Cablevision which he worked for 20+ years. For a while, he was an advid bowler at the King Pin Alley as well as Hi Tor Alley where he eventually bowled his first 300. A perfect game! In his free time, Alan loved to go to the beach & fishing. His passion was cooking for the people he loved while watching a good football game, but most importantly he was a family man. Coaching his kids sports teams, yearly vacations, & holidays were only a few of his favorites. He had a heart of gold! He would've given the shirt off his back or the last $1 in his pocket to anyone in need. Alan was so loving, caring, & without hesitation, would always put his family first. Especially his granddaughter, whom he loved so much and spoiled every chance he got.

Alan is survived by his daughter Melissa Jones (30), son Alan Jones (28), granddaughter Kaylee (11), long time companion Lynn Brzozka, wife in Florida Kathleen Jones, sister Muriel Gordon Neddermeyer, niece Ava, nephew Brandon, as well as many aunts, uncles & cousins.
