Condolence: Oh Chuck, it's been years since we palled around with John Krilow and formed the band named "Smoker". Mid 80's in Nyack, we had great fun, and when it snowed out we got our shovels out and dug out driveways and cars. Then headed to Jimmy the Greeks restaurant for burgers and hot chocolate. Great memories, you will be missed. My best to your family and friends. God Bless.

Condolence: My sincere and heartfelt condolences and love to Mr. Araneo, Michael, Mary, and all his close family members and loved ones.
May God comfort you in this time of loss and may the knowledge, that He alone knows when we are to come or leave, bring some future contentment in the face of the current sadness that we all feel. I pray for Chuck’s contentment and resolution to his searches in this life, and for the rest of his journey in the next life to be one filled with ever opening wonders of the ultimate truth.
I met Chuck in 1965, 7th grade, in wrestling, and we became close friends, which continued through the later counter culture, and all that was the 1960’s, years. Chuck became one of my few closest friends from 1969 through 1973 when I left the county. We went to many, many music events in NYC together, just the two of us, as we were both rabidly interested in the music innovations of that period, especially in jazz. Chuck had a sense of the subtle nuances in music that surprised some, due to his non pretentious persona, both of which I loved about him. Friendship with Chuck was a lot of fun as teens and young men, but most of all characterized by steadfast loyalty, true comradery of the heart, and a conscience that cut through the crap of the social games and posturing that predominates in the teen circles, even the conscious hip ones of the sixties.
Chuck had a great heart. Chuck was real. As we said in those days, Chuck was Solid.
As the reels of the movie of life are currently playing back for me, remembering innumerable great times and moments of true brotherhood with Chuck, I am resolute in my heart that I was lucky to have such a friend.
I have not seen Chuck since 1974, as my visits to the county were rare and short,
so I am quite sad that I did not get the chance to see him again, catch up, and continue forward.
However, I am resolute in the faith that God, in spite of our failings and challenges unconquered, truly sees what is deepest and most essential in all hearts, and carries us from that place to our assignments in the next life.
I wish Chuck God speed into the rest of his journey,
and God’s Grace and Mercy to all his loved ones suffering his loss.

Condolence: I have so many fond memories of Chuck, going
back to adolescence when everything was so new and SUCH an adventure. I remember his drawings in particular...so succinctly capturing moments of that time...friends faces, funny situations.
Chucks face was beautiful to me ...the look of a harlequino that expressed such humor, observation and kindness. I'll miss him. Lucky he was here on this earth...
