Lawrence A. Letizia, a 50 year resident of New City died on January 25. He was 83.
Born in the Bronx on April 17, 1933 to Angelo and Adeline Letizia. Lawrence served in the US Navy
from 1952-1956 during the Korean conflict. Lawrence was the owner and operator for many years of the Manhattan East Auto Repair Garage. He is survived by his wife Marion, a daughter Trish & Michael Sellers of Pomona, three sons; Angelo & Anne Marie of New City, Gregory of New City, and Louis of New York City. He is also survived by two brothers, Ronald and Gilbert, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am at St. Ann's Church in Nyack on Monday, January 30th with burial to follow at Rockland County Veterans Cemetery. Visiting will be held from 3pm - 7pm on Sunday at the Hannemann Funeral Home.
