Obituary for Lawrence E. Guisinger

Dr. Lawrence Edward Guisinger passed away February 23, 2017 at his home. He was 68 and a veteran of the US Navy. Larry was born October 22, 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama and was a resident of Piermont, New York. He is survived by his sister Cheryl and spouse Norman Knight, brother Ricky and spouse Kathy Guisinger, sisters Kathy Whiddon and Tammy Derson, nephew Todd Knight and nieces Dixie Krautsdorfer, Jackie Laborde, Laurie Sibley, Kasey Whiddon and Kayla Derson. He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnette Williamson Guisinger, grandparents Frank and Pearl Cowles, Ray Guisinger and Rev. Julius and Eula Williamson, brother in law Roger Whiddon, niece Amy Whiddon and nephew Toby Knight. A Memorial Service will be held at Hannemann Funeral Home in Nyack, New York on Saturday, March 11 at 11 AM. A private family service will be held in Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
