John W. Stoothoff, Sr. of Nanuet, NY passed away on May 20, 2017, he was 85 years old. John was born on August 10, 1931 in Nyack, NY. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, John was employed by lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY for many years. He relocated to Nanuet, NY in 1982.
He was predeceased by his two sisters Elizabeth and Margaret.
John is survived by his wife Dorothy Lovaglio Stoothof, two sons John, Jr. and his wife Ilene of Lake George, NY and Richard of Nanuet, NY. Two grandchildren and a sister Helen Kirk and her husband Frank of Sparkill, NY.
Visiting will be held today (Tuesday) from 3PM to 7 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Ann’s RC Church in Nyack. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
