Condolence: Jane, I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was a great man, and fun to be around. We had a lot of interesting times at the Sports Award luncheons. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: As the military expression goes, Wolff had "time in grade." More importantly, he had a supporting family. If I'm not mistaken, Bob's wife drove him to work, a long trek from Nyak to LI. Rest In Peace!!

Condolence: My deepest condolences to Jane and the entire family. Bob gave me my first job in television nearly 30 years ago at News 12 Long Island. I learned so much from him in those years spent with him. I am forever grateful for his kindness and willingness to share his vast knowledge.

Condolence: A great teacher, broadcaster and friend. Have thought of you often, Bob, over the years since you taught me journalism at College of White Plains and my dad regarded you a great personal friend. Will miss you. Already do!

Condolence: Not just a broadcasting legend, a legendary human being. Respected for his achievements, but loved for just being himself.

Condolence: Bob informed and and entertained the Baby Boomer generation with his magical, memorable voice when the legends like Bob, Scully and Gowdy did not need help in the booth. One did not need to know Bob personally to appreciate the role he played in our youth and the value of a well-turned phrase.

Condolence: Bob was a dear friend and colleague since 1963. Being part of his extended family back in the '60's, and having him as part of mine, was an honor and a treasure.
