Franklin Delano Brown a resident of Spring Valley, NY passed away on July 20, 2017, he was 68 years old. Franklin was born on October 30, 1948 in Lewiston Woodville, NC. He has lived in Spring Valley, NY for the past 50 years. He was employed for 27 years as a chef at the Rockland Psychiatric Center in Orangeburg, NY. Franklin was a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Nyack and the Tappan Zee Masonic Lodge #79.
He is survived by his wife Deloris “Jean” Ellison Brown. Two sons; Randall and his wife Mellett of Spring Valley, NY and Ronald and his wife Jessica of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is also survived by four brothers; Louis, Willie, Luther and Elizah and four grandchildren.
A homegoing service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 80 No. Franklin St. Nyack, NY. Interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery. A wake will be held on Wednesday from 7PM to 9PM at the church.
