Roberta Turner of Piermont, NY died on September 5, 2017, she was 85 years old. Roberta was born in Piermont, NY to James and Edna Sisco Francis. She was employed by NY Telephone Co. as a telephone operator for 30 years. Roberta was a member of St. Charles AME Zion Church in Sparkill, NY.
She is predeceased by her brother James W.
Roberta is survived by 2 sisters; Rosanna Francis of Nyack, NY and Dorothea Francis of Englewood, NJ and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Homegoing Service will be held on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 12 noon at St. Charles AME Zion Church in Sparkill, NY. Visitation will take place on Wednesday morning from 10 AM until 12 noon at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Charles AME Zion Church.
