Condolence From: Catherine Doran
Condolence: Flo Greenberg was my music teacher in high school and my speech teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She was one the most beautiful people I have ever met. She taught me some many things. It's hard to list them all. One incident I do remember is when I had to give my first speech as a freshmen. I was incredibly nervous about singing a piece from Porgy and Bess a Broadway play. She took me behind the stage and gave me this pep talk, one that I'll never forget. I walked out on the stage and blasted it out like I had never done before. The audience went wild. She gave me the biggest smile. She had this unique way of bringing out the best of everyone she encountered. I will never forget her and her uniqueness. She will be sadly missed.

Condolence: Flo Greenberg was my very first introduction to theater, as a Nyack High School student in the early 1970s. Little did she or I know that she had set me on a 43+ year career in the performing arts industry that ranged all they way from lowly tech theater student, to a stagehand, to a technical director, production manager, a scenic and lighting designer, an industry professional outfitting venues all over the world, and ultimately to a Theater Consultant designing new spaces for new generations of students. That "passion" that she sparked in me, as a young person - to know and feel in your soul how the performing arts can change people's lives - one cannot put a value on. Flo leaves this world a far, far better place by her having been in it and by inspiring and teaching others. My love and deepest condolences to all of Flo's family, friends, and colleagues. Please take comfort in knowing that her legacy and passion lives on in all her students.

Condolence: Dear Beautiful Woman-

May your glorious soul be soaring above me - laughing in delight -
Knowing indeed it's a wonderful journey even after the fight.

You were a warrior our girl-
Pushing light- in day and in night

Comforting us

Loving us

Making us realize that cherishing every thing- every moment is the best way to live

Reminding us that underneath it all people are inherently good- that sometimes they just simply can't help themselves ❤️ And to forgive them-

I will feel good and lost without you for a long time to come
You were my ☀️ sun
You wee also my moon
And my star
And without you near me it will be hard to go far

But I know that you loved me and that will remain true wherever you are I will always feel you-

And love you
OH Flo HOW WE love you
Mimi Calrie Angela Cheryl
Marsha, Amy, Mimi, and so so many more- how we love you
How we love
How we
How ?

Will we all go on?
But we will think and feel you and know you'd know best and we will all honor that- that will be our test-
To strive and be alive and sing 🎶 the songs of joy - of life - of passion and truth-
To be alive each moment
And never be aloof-
To Flo!

YOU WERE ALWAYS THE MORE LOVING ONE!
