Condolence: Flo Greenberg was my music teacher in high school and my speech teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She was one the most beautiful people I have ever met. She taught me some many things. It's hard to list them all. One incident I do remember is when I had to give my first speech as a freshmen. I was incredibly nervous about singing a piece from Porgy and Bess a Broadway play. She took me behind the stage and gave me this pep talk, one that I'll never forget. I walked out on the stage and blasted it out like I had never done before. The audience went wild. She gave me the biggest smile. She had this unique way of bringing out the best of everyone she encountered. I will never forget her and her uniqueness. She will be sadly missed.

Condolence From: Peter Scheu
Condolence: Flo Greenberg was my very first introduction to theater, as a Nyack High School student in the early 1970s. Little did she or I know that she had set me on a 43+ year career in the performing arts industry that ranged all they way from lowly tech theater student, to a stagehand, to a technical director, production manager, a scenic and lighting designer, an industry professional outfitting venues all over the world, and ultimately to a Theater Consultant designing new spaces for new generations of students. That "passion" that she sparked in me, as a young person - to know and feel in your soul how the performing arts can change people's lives - one cannot put a value on. Flo leaves this world a far, far better place by her having been in it and by inspiring and teaching others. My love and deepest condolences to all of Flo's family, friends, and colleagues. Please take comfort in knowing that her legacy and passion lives on in all her students.
