Lula D. Brooks of Nyack, NY passed away on December 15, 2017, she was 87 years old. Lula has been a resident of Nyack for the past 47 years.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Thomas E. Brooks; 2 daughters Gloria Powell of Spring Valley, NY and Elma Brooks of Nyack, NY; a son Leonard Brooks of Miami, FL; 10 grand children, 8 great grandchildren; a brother Melvin Bennett and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lula is predeceased by her son Ray Brooks.
Visiting will be held on Tuesday from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
