Whenever a situation arose & we needed extra help, Don was there. He also had a special kinship with my father as they both were avid music lovers & performers. From the moment he found out I was African, his nickname for me became "My African Queen," and he would actually bow to me! His laughter and smile was infectious, and he was so kind!
