Thomas Brooks a Nyack resident for 47 years passed away on January 1, 2018. He was born on 1/1/1929 in Roatan, Honduras to Eldridge Brooks and Geneva Brooks. Survived by: sister Venetia Johnson. Children: Glorian Powell of Spring Valley, Elma Brooks of Nyack, Leonard & Darla Brooks and Edward Brooks, 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Lula Brooks, father Eldridge Brooks, Mother Geneva James Brooks,
Son Ray Horbie Brooks and Granddaughter Carol Brooks and 7 sisters.

Visiting will be held on Thursday morning from 10 AM until 11 AM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A Funeral service will take place at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
