Mrs.Dorothea Minniefield, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother
and Friend born 5/25/1930,
in Hanua, Germany has sadly passed away on 2/04/2018 at the the age of
87 yrs old.
Dorothea known as Dottie by many worked as a childcare worker for more
than 30+ yrs @ St Agatha's in Nanuet.
Predeceased by her husband William E Minniefield 10/16/1977. Dorothea is
survived by her daughter Barbara A Velez (Johnny) of Nanuet and her son
Siegfried/Siggy Minniefield (Karen) of Middletown NY.


Dorothea was a Grandmother to 7 and a Great Grandmother to 4 and a host
of nieces and nephews and many others who loved and adored her. She will
be greatly missed but her spirit will live on. Mom touched many lives
during her time here on earth and we love and cherish her forever.

Visiting will be held on Friday from 9:30 AM until 11 AM at St. Ann's RC Church in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 11 AM at the church with burial to follow at the Rockland County VA Cemetery in Suffern, NY.
