Obituary for Martha E. Williams

Martha Elizabeth Williams was born in Montgomery County, North Carolina, October 6, 1942. She graduated from Peabody High School in 1960. She relocated to Nyack, NY in 1968. Martha loved to do hair, obtained her license and opened up her own beauty salon.
She became a member of the I.B.P.O. Elks of the World and was a past Daughter Ruler where she remained as an active member.
On March 19th, God opened his window went to his garden picked this precious Rose and had her march forth. Martha Maness Williams was proceeded by both her parents, the late James Wilbert Maness and the late Elizabeth Aileen Butler.
She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Jarriette Moly of Nyack, NY, Gwendolyn Maness Taylor (Craig Taylor) of Fayetteville, NC, one son Joseph Wesley Williams III of Nyack, NY, two sisters Mrs. Barbara J. Freeman of Nyack, NY, Mrs. Donna Maness Smith (Lewis Smith) of Troy, NC, a brother Eugene Butler Jr. of Woodbridge, VA and a brother who proceeded her in death James Wilbert Maness Jr. She has five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and a host or relatives and friends.
