Barbara Kantor (84) of North Palm Beach, Florida; Montauk, New York; Manhattan, New York; and West Nyack, New York, passed away this week after a long illness. A fashion icon and world traveler, Barbara was married to Irwin Kantor for 59 years, before his passing in 2016. Barbara is survived by her children, Robin and Peter Kantor, and adoring grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jack, and Reid Kantor. Barbara was an expert in the fashion industry and was a buyer for Loweth National, before opening her own buying office, Barbara Di, Inc. Her extensive world travel to exotic lands inspired Barbara’s impeccable style and taste. After retiring, Barbara and Irwin pursued their love for boating and fishing in both Florida and Montauk. Barbara also continued to pursue her love of travel by taking several cruises with her husband Irwin.

A Wake will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 South Broadway, Nyack, NY, from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. A funeral service will be held at 5:30 PM at the funeral home. Private Interment at Fort Hill Cemetery, Montauk, New York.
