George and Ruth lived the majority of their 55 years together in Nyack where he was an active, enthusiastic member of the community, whether though Rotary, Nyack Red and Black club or the American Legion.
George was a great lover of food, history, music and sports. In the early years of their retirement, he especially enjoyed extensive travel to Western Europe and Scandinavia with Ruth.
