Mom died today. It wasn’t sudden. We all knew it was coming and it was something for which she was very ready. She was at peace with everything and everybody. Mom had said all of her goodbyes and we all talked so nothing was left unsaid or unsettled. It was sweet and sad.
Mom was 88 years old and lived a great life. She danced, got married and stayed married to dad for 61 years. She and dad raised 3 kids and traveled the world. Mom went back to school and became a nurse. She had more friends and people who loved her than we could even begin to acknowledge. Like everyone else there were bumps and bruises along the way, but she was a very strong woman and survived. Until today.

There will be a service at 10AM Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Hannemann’s Funeral Home. 88 S. Broadway Nyack,NY The burial will be private. Afterwards there will be a short reception for friends and family from 2PM - 4 PM in Mom’s Apartment at 1 Main St, Nyack, NY #2306.


In lieu of flowers please donate what you can to Hospice Of Rockland or the Cause of your choice. If you can’t be with us, please get together with your friends and family, tell stories about Mom and laugh. Mom loved laughter.
We will miss you Ma, but you will always be remembered.
