Anne M. Bazala a longtime resident of Piermont, NY passed away on Saturday, November 3. She was 96.
Born February 11, 1922 in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania to John and Johanna Yedinak.
Anne has been a resident of Piermont for the past 74 years. She was employed at the Paper Mill in Piermont before being employed for 18 years as a justice court clerk for the Town of Orangetown. She was a member of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Piermont. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Stephen, he died in 1998 as well as a brother John Yedinak Jr., and an infant sister Mary. She is survived by her daughters Joanne and Cathleen, a sister-in-law Edna Lazaroff, a nephew Richard and Elaine Tonet. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 10am at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Piermont . Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery. Visiting will be at the Hannemann Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3-7pm.
