My uncle Ricky ( my moms brother) I barely remember. I have very few memories of him. I remember big hugs and certain holidays and gifts. He and my mom lost contact and I guess keeping a relationship with his two nieces and nephew wasn't such a big deal. I'm so glad he was an uncle to others in his family. Would have been nice to have known him or been informed, since I've had the same address since I was born as well as the same phone number. But I do appreciate getting a notification of his passing via MAIL approximately 1 MONTH LATER ( that was real thoughtful ) Appreciate that. Rip uncle Ricky.
