Condolence: Matt Doran was one of the finest people I knew growing up. Honest, steady, reliable, trustworthy, intelligent, logical, well mannered, loyal, creative, physically tough, fun loving, generous, nature loving, hard cycling, true to his word, and well balanced are characteristics that come to my mind when I reminisce about Matt Doran. My mother and father always spoke very highly about him when we were growing up. I have too many great memories and recollections about Matt. He was a credit to his family and community. I lost touch with him over the years, but I have no doubt that he leaves behind a living legacy of respect and love from friends, family, and associates. It was a blessing to be his good friend growing up. He was always welcome in my home and he made me feel the same. Matt Doran reflects very well on his mother and father. I'm honored to have known him.

Condolence: Was shocked to hear of Matt's passing...I told Applewooder Jim Nadell and he was shocked too...Jim remembered 80 mile bicycle forays to New Jersey with iron-legged Matt...Steady, quiet-natured Matt was a neighbor of mine in Applewood and we grew up together with the neighborhood kids...
