Obituary for Carmen Paris

Carmen Paris
Carmen Paris passed away on August 24, 2018 at the age of 91, she was a resident of Nyack, New York for over 26 years. She was fiercely independent and strong, an avid traveler, a pillar in her church community, and a dynamic mother and grandmother. Carmen is survived by her four children: Marcelle Princy Desmarattes, Ernst Bertrand, Frantz Bertrand, Carline Bertrand, her 7 grand children (Véronique, Sebastian, Phyllip, Kwame, Allen, Karl, Roxane) her two sisters, Marie Laguerre and Léa Paris as well as her son and daughter in law, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded by her siblings Roger, Philippe, Jacqueline and Simone.
Carmen will forever be in our hearts and will truly be missed.
A wake will be held on Saturday from 9 AM until 10 AM at the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church in Spring Valley, New York. A Funeral Service will take place at the church on Saturday at 10 AM.
