Obituary for Lucy G. Clements

Lucy G.  Clements
Lucy G. Clements “Happy” departed this earth on September 3, 2018. Lucy was born on January 9th 1953 to James Hargraves and Mary Dorothy Craig in Chapel Hill, NC. She attended and graduated from the Chapel Hill School District. She migrated to NY at an early age in 1974, met Henry D. Clements and married on December 12, 1980. From this marriage Liberal Sheajuan Clements and Shayla Janelle Clements were born.
Lucy worked at Rockland State Hospital and Pfizer, better known as Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY. She was a devoted advocate for the kids in Nyack working at several jobs including Nyack Library, Nyack Center, Camp Nyack and cub scouts, making sure the kids got what was due them. She was also a member of the Central Nyack Ladies Auxiliary.
Lucy was predeceased by her parents, two siblings Charles A. Carr and James Farrington, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories children Touche and Shayla, her two very special grandkids Juelz S. Clements and Jamari S. Clements. Her sisters Ruth Long, Cheryl Hargraves and Pamela Carr. Brothers Rudy Hargraves, Randy Hargraves, Gary Hargraves, Shawn L. Carr and William K. Craig. A host of nieces and nephews. She had a special connection with Marcus and Antonio White. Lucy will truly be missed.
