Obituary for Rose Von Sternstein

Our Lord called home Rose “Netta” Von Sternstein on September 10, 2018
after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Carmine and Teresa Pagnozzi
and was born in Piermont, New York on December 12. 1924.
Rose attended Sparkill Grammar School and Tappan Zee High School.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Von Sternstein and mother to
Daughter, Patricia of Piermont, New York.
Rose worked for the Silk Mill in Piermont, New York and The Marriot in Palisades,
New York before retiring in 1989.
She enjoyed working on Ceramics for 20 years and made many pieces which she
shared with family and friends.
Rose was a member of the Piermont Senior Citizens and enjoyed attending the
many trips they went on. She was a Eucharistic Minister both St. John’s Church
in Piermont and Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, New York.
In later years, she enjoyed attending Gallen House Adult Daycare Center in
Rockleigh, New Jersey, she many new friends.
Rose was a dear sister to brothers Joseph, Sammy, Ricco, Patrick, and Barry
Pagnozzi and to sisters Mary Cornetta, Lucy Melia, and Anna Lynch.
She is survived by beloved daughter Patricia Von Sternstein of Piermont and
dear sister to Antoinette, “Ditty” Naglieri of Suffern, New York.
