Clara Vielot Saint-Victor, age 96 of Nyack, NY passed away peacefully on October 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Clara was born on April 27, 1922 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Augustin and Sephora Vielot. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Maurice, sisters Lucille and Augusta, and brothers Lebrun, Bernard, and Hubert.

Clara and her family have been a part of the Nyack Community since 1964. She was an active member of St. Ann’s Parish in Nyack, NY and a member of St. Ann’s Rosary Society. Clara also worshipped at the St. Joseph’s Parish in Spring Valley, NY. Clara was passionate about music and baking; she loved to sing and was very well known in the county for her cakes and cookies, and she was over zealous when it came to bird watching.

Clara is survived by two sons, Jose Saint-Victor (Diana) of Hillcrest, NY, Alex Saint-Victor (Florence) of Tappan, NY and daughter Marie Saint-Victor of Montclair, NJ, five grandchildren, Lawrence Saint-Victor (Shay) of Los Angles, CA, Jacqueline Hogg (Jon) of Pomona, NY, Christopher Saint-Victor (Viviana) of Hillsborough, NJ, Alexis Saint-Victor of Tappan, NY, Caleb Koch of Montclair, NJ and three great-grand children: Hunter Hogg, Sebastian Saint-Victor, Christian Saint-Victor and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 8th from 4-8 PM at St. Ann’s Church, 16 Jefferson St., Nyack, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10AM, St. Ann’s Church, Nyack, NY followed by interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
