Obituary for Frank Irizarry
Frank Irizarry of Newburgh and formerly Valley Cottage, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, after a battle with cancer at the age of 47. Frank attended Nyack High School and Empire State College, and he proudly served as a volunteer firefighter with the Central Nyack Fire Dept.
Frank, was an intelligent, caring, and jocular man who will be affectionately remembered by his sister, Tricia Prentice (Russ), brother Nick (Corrina), Aunts Mary Ann Haas (Bill) and Terri Sorel (Don). Frank will also be greatly missed by his nephews, Jason, Jeff, and Trevor, his nieces Rylee, Hailee, Alyssa, and Morgan, and many extended family members and friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents Joan and Nick.
Frank had an indominable spirit and a zest for life, and he will be sorely missed and remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
A funeral service in memory of Frank will be held on Saturday, December 15th, at 12:30 pm, at St Ann’s Church, 16 Jefferson St, Nyack, NY.
