Condolence From: Kevin Doyle
Condolence: I first saw Steve when he was a referee presiding over games in which our sons played. I first met Steve when we served together on the Nyack Library Board.

Every Library patron -- and, for that matter, taxpayer -- should be thankful for Steve's astute, even-keeled judgments as Library Treasurer. Working with the Board President, he ensured a sound financial footing for a great community asset.

Steve was a generous, gracious gentleman. He and his much beloved wife Mary will be in our thoughts and prayers. Kevin Doyle

Condolence: Mary, My condolences on Steve's passing. Our friendship started 20 years ago and was an instant bond. I not only enjoyed working with him on the court, but I also welcomed his input as my assistant at meetings and in the training class. It was a fulfilling 20 years for the both of us in which I will remember forever.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Mary and the rest of the Beck family. Steve was such a gentlemen, he reminded me so much of my own father. Always smiling, respectful and great to speak with. I will always value our friendship. Rockland Board 45 will not be the same without him!

Condolence: To the Beck Family - Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Steve was one of the nicest people to work with. He always had time to talk with us and would leave us with a smile - players and coaches alike (not an easy thing to do as a referee!)

Our players and coaches send their prayers and support.
