Obituary for Henrietta Franklin

Henrietta Franklin
Ms Henrietta Franklin (Downing) left her earthly spirit on June 28, 2019. She was born on November 6, 1930 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Mrs. & Mr. James Franklin, as well as 9 siblings, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. She raised right children to adulthood two of which are now deceased, Cathy and Vanley. She started as a domestic cleaning houses. She then worked at Letchworth Village before finishing at Rockland Psychiatric Center.
Ms. Franklin leaves 6 children to cherish her memory: Gwendolyn Bradford, Jr. and Bertha, Arthur and Sylvia, Catherine, Robert and Ingris, Harold and Lasharon. Thirty grandchildren, fifty seven great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Special Thanks to her caretaker Ingris and to her niece Cynthia Muffin. Thanks for keeping her smiling.
Visiting will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2019 from 9:30AM to 11 AM at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Nyack. A Homegoing Service will be held at 11 AM at the church with interment to follow at Brick Church Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
