Obituary for Irene Alzuphar

Irene  Alzuphar
Irene (née Charlot) Alzuphar, age 83, of Nyack New York, peacefully passed away on Tuesday July 30th in Milton Massachusetts.
Irene was born in Mirebalais, Haiti on March 1, 1936. She lost her mother at a young age; persevered and graduated from La Sagesse school in Port au Prince, Haiti. Irene was married to Jacques Alzuphar on January 6th, 1955. They were married for 11 years and had 6 children before his untimely death. Years later, she had three additional children with Jean Noisette.
Irene immigrated to the United States in November 9, 1971. She worked for many years at various companies of employment which includes: BSR, Colorform and Nice Pak. She enjoyed spending time entertaining family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, watching her favorite channel TLC, praying, singing, and traveling.
Irene is survived by 9 children; Marie Malette, Jean-Briere Alzuphar, Laure Larosiliere, Rolande Charles, Faidherbe Alzuphar, Jacques Alzuphar, Jasmine Chouloute, Sophia Charlot, and Cendy Noisette; 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Irene is predeceased by her husband Jacques Alzuphar, parents Icar and Laure Charlot, three sisters and one brother.
The funeral Mass will be held at 9 am on August 10th at St Ann’s Church, 16 Jefferson St, Nyack, New York. Burial will follow the funeral at Oak Hill cemetery, Nyack, NY. Visitation is from 4pm to 8pm on Friday August 9th at St. Ann’s Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hanneman Funeral Home Inc.
The family of Irene Alzuphar would like to thank her many friends and extended family for their wonderful acts of love and kindness during this time of loss. Your support has been a source of strength and shall always be remembered.
