Obituary for Ann Ennis

Ann Ennis
On December 30, 2019 Ann Ennis was called to her Lord and Savior. She died peacefully with her children by her side.
Ann was born on October 5, 1927 to Bennedito and Mary Dagostino in Warren, Rhode Island. She lived most of her life in Piermont, NY where she had 8 children: Bill Antonelli, Wil Ennis, Mary Fleetham, Jeff Ennis, Liz Fagan, Jon Ennis, Gert Ennis and Joe Pennacchio. Ann is survived by her children, Bill (Irene Clark), Liz (Kevin), Jon (Elise), Gert, Joe (Ali) and was blessed with 13 loving grandchildren: Deb, Ron, Sadie, Rob, Kevin, Anthony, Demi, Chelsea, Derek, Maggie, Brianna, Jack, Samantha and Anastasia. Her life also includes 9 great-grandchildren: Eve, Owen, Alex, Eden, Oliver, Harriet, Quincy, Ella, and Will, some who have shown grandma's gift for singing. Mom loved to sing locally in Piermont variety shows, performing with The Willows Glee Club, but her proudest performance was singing the Ave Maria at St. John's Church Midnight Mass on Christmas.
Ann was predeceased by her children Will, Jeff, Mary, Mary Antonelli her daughter-in-law and granddaughters Sadie and Chelsea. Grandma had a beautiful face, a beautiful smile (loved wearing lipstick at all times) and she shared it with all of us when we were with her. When we asked her age it was never a problem, she was like Jack Benny, she was always "39" whenever we asked. With so many memories generated throughout the years we all will be able to always carry a piece of her in our hearts. Mom was a good and loving mother and we know today that she will rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice of Rockland. Family will receive friends and relatives Friday 1/3/2020 from 4pm until 8pm at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack, NY. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements by Hannemann Funeral home, at 88 S Bway Nyack
