It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemarie N. Manion on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Born in Nyack, NY on August 2, 1941, she was the youngest of 8 children of Angelo and Rose Dell'Olio. She was the beloved wife of Arthur J Manion for nearly 59 years. She graduated from Nyack High School, and was a bookkeeper for many years to Raso and Sons of Nyack and then worked with her husband on their family owned business. Art and Rose retired and moved to Manahawkin NJ for 15 years to spend time with family there, before returning to Rockland to be closer to other friends and family. Rose had been an avid bowler and tennis player. Above all, her greatest joy was to be with her family and dear friends. Rose is survived by her loving husband Art, 3 children; daughter Loretta Cangiano, her husband Richard, son Arthur Manion Jr., daughter Deborah Manion, 2 grandchildren, Richard and Christine, 2 step grandchildren Derek and Brett Jackson. Sisters Mildred McCarthy and Loretta Bryan, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass for family and friends will follow at a future date. Donations in Rosemarie's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
