To Grandma "cape cod" my Angel

Hi Grandma, Oh how I miss you, we all do but this is my story so I'm going to share my favorite memories... I remember Dreamer ave. a bit, lots of dogs and birds and cabbage patch dolls. Crab apple trees with rotten apples I tried to eat, but then there you were out of nowhere, before I could put that nasty thing to my lips, high up at the top of those narrow stairs in the backyard, "Rachel, don't eat that it's poison!" Well maybe not poison but you knew how to get your point across. Thank you for "saving my life" grandma. Oh yes, Cape Cod... best memories. Homemade waffles in the morning, I think you were more excited to make them then we were to eat them and that's saying a lot because I've never tasted a better one since. They had that perfect grandma essence you can't get anywhere else. Spending the day at the lake while you perfected your garden, even though it was always perfect, not a petal out of place..EVER. Bowling/mini golf at night and then friendly's for Ice cream followed by a VIDEO TAPE, yes that's right, from the VIDEO Store. You loved anything with Bette Davis but especially "Bon Voyage". I love that one too. Then asleep in the Blue Room with the Ocean air coming in to put us right to sleep. That was a huge part of my cousin's and my childhoods and we will always have those beautiful, pure childhood memories with you. I am so blessed you came to live close to us a while ago, I am grateful Roman got to spend so much time with you and you with him. I loved watching your special bond together. But my favorite times was when it was just you and me cracking jokes, watching law and order and having a meal together. You had a great dry, sarcastic sense of humor that you never lost and I loved to laugh with you, not at you of course, even after you let me cut your hair. Thank you for Always being there for me...for everyone. I love you with all my heart and I'll see you when I see you.
