Caroline Squillante
Caroline Squillante (nee Montesano), 96 was welcomed into the embrace of Our Lord on Friday, July 10, 2020. She was born on January 21, 1924 to Pio and Lucia Montesano in Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband Pasquale, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage and her siblings, Antoinette Rizzo, Irene Acampora, Mary Montesano, Josephine Spinelli and Samuel Montesano. She is survived by her only beloved son, Pasquale Squillante and his wife Roseann, her beloved grandchildren, Michelle Squillante and Pasquale Squillante, his wife Kerry and her adored great grandchildren Anthony and Grace Squillante. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Caroline was an amazing woman who cherished her family and would do anything for them. The family will forever cherish the memories of gathering around the table to enjoy amazing food, fun card games, laughter and most importantly, the love that was shared. She was devoted to the Blessed Mother and would recite the Rosary daily. She will be terribly missed by all, but we take comfort in knowing she is at peace with her family in heaven.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway, Nyack, New York from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, July 13, 2020 at St. Ann’s Church, 16 Jefferson Street, Nyack, New York at 10:30 a.m. followed by internment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, New York.
