Condolence From: Kevin Martin
Condolence: I realize that a lot of time has gone by since Flip's passing but I am still trying to get my head around it. You see I have known Flip since grammar school and high school. He even visited me at Fairfield University when I was in college. We became even closer friends when we rented a summer house in the Hamptons. Since Jimmy Rooney lived in the Hamptons full time we would often visit with him in the off season as well as the summer. Flip was a fascinating guy who was into cars, boats, cooking, music and many other interests that he opened my eyes to. He was more like a brother than a friend. Till we meet again.

Love,

Kevin Martin

Condolence: Thank you for taking me to museums, to seeing Dolly Parton at the Bottom Line and for trying foods I never heard of. We lost touch over the years, but we had our adventures! Thank you for your friendship Flip. Dance with the angels, Doctor!
