Edith L.  Williams
Edith L. Williams of Central Nyack, New York passed away peacefully on Friday January 1st, 2021, at the age of 72 in Good Samaritan Hospital. Edith was born on January 9th, 1948 to Katherine and John Williams in Smithfield, Virginia.

Edith started her life in Rockland County where she was survived by many loved ones.

She held a special bond with each of her loving sisters; Sarah Harris-Williams, Linda Williams, Catherine ( Otis Alston,) Geneva Williams(Carl Greene,) Patricia (James Acker,) Stella (David Passmore,) Gracie Williams and Laura (Brian Burd)

She was blessed with four children Stanley Williams of Trenton NJ, Sandra Williams of Stony Point NY and Wanda Williams of Nyack, NY whom will hold her in their hearts forever.

With a slew of nieces and nephews Edith couldn't help but to be loved.

Edith had such a big heart, she often went out of her way to make sure others where taken care of and well fed with her delicious cooking. Throughout her life she never hesitated to extended a helping hand whenever needed. Further spreading her love she worked as a Healthcare provider for many years until 2003 when she retired, and began the full time care of her brother Arthur (Boo.) In her retirement, Edith loved to crochet, with her sister Linda as an inspiration, she took on fulltime care of her 7th grandchild, Myasia where they became inseparable. She was also blessed with more grandchildren that she loved so dearly;
Taneisha,Shante, Jaleesa, Michael, Matthew, Stanley jr, Nicholas, Tahiem and Adreana Followed by

6 great grandchildren.

Edith was Predeceased by her parents Katherine and John Williams, her younger son Alvin and her brothers Linwood, John jr, Richard, Arthur, Everette, and partner Walter.

Ediths love, cherished memories along with her undoubted strength and faith will help cushion her loved ones from her untimely loss.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10 AM at Brick Church Cemetery in Spring Valley, NY.
