Condolences

Condolence From: Sam Rosenzweig
Condolence: I Just pulled out an old golf magazine "The Met Golfer" 1988 which had a picture of Frank and I winning the the MGA Metropolitan Golf Championship and accepting the award. We also played at Rockland Lake as partners for many many years. I moved to NJ and lost contact with Frank. I am so sorry to hear about his death.

Condolence: You have my heartfelt condolences on the passing of a really good guy.

I didn't know Frank well, however, the times I did see him he always had a smile on his face and nice words to say.

I know my late wife, Kathy, loved her cousin very much.

Frank and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

God Bless.

Condolence: It is with profound sadness that I share your loss. I truly enjoyed the times that Frank and I and the girls spent together and going swim meets. He was always jovial and upbeat and a pleasure to be around. I shall miss him. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: To Frank’s family:
I am sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. We were classmates all through grammar school at St. Patrick’s in Long Island City and played CYO baseball for several years together. He was known as “Frannie” in those days and played first base...left handed if my memory serves we well. I’ve enjoyed seeing pictures of his family on FB...always interested to see what’s happened to some of my oldest friends. When I saw the post on FB, I was sharing it with my wife and told her that one of the things that stands out in my memories of Frank Christmas was his smile and his easy going nature. Kids can be cruel at times but I never heard Frank have a harsh word to say about anyone.
I’m sorry I couldn’t attend the Wake today,...I’m just down the road in Ramsey...Covid precaution! I’ll be spending an hour in Eucharistic Adoration tomorrow and will dedicate the hour to Frank and your family.
Sincerely,
Dan Diffley

PS: Elizabeth,
I see Chris Gaffney is a FB friend of yours. What’s the connection? If he’s originally from Staten Island his mom Kathy and my wife Terry are cousins. Small world, right?
