Obituary for Mercedes St. Cloud

Mercedes St. Cloud
Family and friends mourn the death of Mercedes “Poupette” St. Cloud. A beloved Mother, Sister, and Daughter, who passed on February 10, 2021. Mercedes was born on April 3, 1961, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. She came to the United States in 1981, and attended school in Rockland County. Rockland Community College was her alma mater. She is survived by Evelyn George (Mother), her 3 children, Sean Schettini, Gianni Schettini, and Giannia Schettini, granddaughter Anna Schettini, her sisters Lory George, Madge George and her brothers Marc Anthony George and Guy St. Cloud, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her children were her most prized gifts from God and she will forever be an angel to them and all her loved ones. Mercedes is affectionately known as “Nenen” to most; which is befitting as it means, Godmother. A Godsend to us all as she was such a warm and giving person that always went out of her way for others. She was impeccably disciplined and loved all arts including music. She could always spot the pieces in a market place. She was an amazing cook and delighted in watching others enjoy her creations. Howard Stern’s show bought her joy on a daily basis. We will miss her feisty, strong-willed, and amusing outlook of all that life had to offer. Most of all, we will miss her loving eyes and smile. She loved New York and it will not be the same without her. Services will be held on February 20th at 9:15 AM at Our Lady of Sacred Heart
