Jajuan M. Valdez
Jajuan Matt Valdez affectionately known as Mateo, Juanie, Chunky fingers, chicken nugget and cute boy transitioned in his home with his family on March 19, 2021.
Jajuan was born on December 7,2007 to his loving parents Omega Valdez & Anthony Peterson. Jajuan was born and raised in Nyack, NY and attended the Nyack Public School system. He attended Nyack Middle School and was enrolled in the 7th grade where he most recently joined the modified football team. Jajuan excelled as a student and was extremely proud that he not just made the honor roll but the High honor roll. He loved all subjects especially art and loved all of his teachers, but the one teacher he always talked about and appreciated was Mrs. Hart.
Jajuan LOVED his family. He had a special bond with his brother Darius who he loved to play with and his Uncle Rob, grandma and grandpa who he often imitated.
Jajuan will be remembered for his bright smile, chubby cheeks, infectious laugh, his exotic socks and eye catching windbreakers. His Love for music, drawing, stuffed animals, his favorite playstation game Madden, football, watching anime videos, wrestling, t.v. shows on youtube and Netflix.
In addition to his parents Jajuan leaves behind to cherish in his memory, brother Darius Valdez, Grandmother Johnsie Valdez, Grandfather Robert Valdez Sr., Uncle Robert Valdez Jr., Aunt Christina Valdez, his Godmother Antonia Atkins, a host of other aunts, uncles cousins, friends and teachers.
