Obituary for Ronald Ojeda
Ronald (Ron) Ojeda, born 7/26/1950, passed away on 5/7/21 at Nyack Hospital. Prior to moving to Nyack, Ron and his family lived in Lower Manhattan, East Side. where he was born.
Ron graduated from Nyack High School and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from Dominican College. Life led Ron into a career in culinary arts and for was a chef at various restaurants within Rockland and surrounding communities.
Ron's interests spanned military history and science fiction. He was a pro at repairing things and working on his car. This led him to working at Home Depot as a Sales Associate. With 21 years in this position, Ron became the store's much sought after employee. People would often call the store, so that they could arrange to come in to seek Ron's advice.
Ron retired from Home Depot in January 2021. Since then he enjoyed living life and being with friends and family that he loved and cared for the most. Ron Is predeceased by his parents, Reinaldo and Rose Marie Ojeda, and his brother Roland. He is survived by his 3 brothers and a long time partner.
A Memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, 05/18/2021 from 5PM to 8PM pm at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 South Broadway, Nyack, N.Y. 10960
