Obituary for Harvey A. Jules

Harvey A. Jules
Harvey Jules
June 12, 1989 – April 6, 2022
Born on June 12, 1989 in Nyack, New York, Harvey Jules died unexpectedly at Westchester Medical Hospital on April 6, 2022 from heart-related complications. He was 32 years old.
Harvey was associated with Abbott House and had been a resident of Murphy House in New City since finishing at Nyack High School. He attended Another Step Day Program, participated in ARC events, sports, dances and social activities and had been a representative for his peers in Albany (until canceled due to COVID). In addition, he was deeply involved in and committed to Special Olympics and worked for many years at Dunkin Donuts in New City, a job he truly cherished.
Harvey will be missed deeply every day, especially by his mother, Allie Marriott-Ralls; his father, Frank Ralls; and his siblings: Jeff, Lionel and Cliff (Salaam) Beauchard, Karen and Sean Smyth and their children Madisyn and Scott, Ken and Lonnie Craig-Saunders and Lymik McNeil, as well as by his aunt and uncle Francesca and Peter Howell and their children Dylan and Morganne.
He will also be missed terribly by his surrogate family: Coach John “Caz” Castellano, Carla Williams, Patrice Thomas and Jennifer Maple, as well as by his housemates of many years at Murphy House and countless other amazing family members, friends, staff, long-time coworkers and others.
Those who knew Harvey – even a little – know what a special, happy young man he was. He lit up every room he entered.
Harvey will be remembered for his infectious smile and fun sense of humor, his kind soul and generous spirit, his love of sports, his fashion style … and his “bling.” As the saying on his clothing line says, “L|L|T|F: Live Life Too Fullest: Cause Ain’t None of Us Make It Out Alive” and Harvey did just that.
May Harvey rest in peace with his biological mother, Nicole, and continue to be remembered for his pure goodness.
A celebration of Harvey’s life will be hosted at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Abbott House in Irvington, New York.
Instead of flowers, the family has requested that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Special Olympics (link) in memory of Harvey Jules’ life.
