On June 20th 1981, Lia married the love of her life, Steven Wanamaker Sr. Together they had three sons, Steven Jr., Michael, and Andrew. Lia’s boys were her most cherished gift. She spent her life devoted to her sons, never missing a chance to cheer them on from the stands while they participated in their many sporting events. She continued this steadfast support with her granddaughter Lulu, attending swim classes and soccer games whenever she could.

Lia loved music and was a rockstar on the dance floor. She was a devoted, fiercely loyal, and loving friend who loved to laugh and make others laugh. She truly enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her sons. She never passed up a moment to tell them how proud she was of each of them. Lia was also a devoted “Mimi” to Lulu and George.
