Condolences

Condolence From: Andrew Siff
Condolence: I met Bubby only once, in 2017. My father was a Nyack native who left in 1952 or thereabouts. I was traveling with my son and wanted to show him where his grandfather had grown up, and the fire station where he had served. We stopped into Hartells Deli, the owner suggested I go to the liquor store to meet Bubby. We did, and I was amazed that he remembered my Dad, Alan Siff, and the family. We chatted for maybe 20 minutes, Bubby was a font of Upper Nyack knowledge and history. A kind and generous man, may he Rest In Peace.
