Eduardo Arilla de Juana was born February 24, 1966. Born in San Sebastian (Spain), he moved to NYC in 1996 and worked at restaurants around Manhattan while pursuing his life’s passion, fashion. He is survived by his partner, Robert Maher, his mother Maria Asuncion de Juana of Vitoria (Spain), his brother, Carlos and his wife Ana of Madrid, and their children Paula, Blanca, Iñaki and Pedro. He is also survived by his sister in law, Kit and three nephews in NJ, Kyle, Kurt, Karl.


He loved celebrations and life! We invited those who loved him to bring a balloon to his wake. When Eduardo entered a room, you knew he was there. He was a presence, whether at an Oscar party or on a roller coaster.

He studied at FIT and he ran his own company, EA Design and worked as a designer for The Noose in NYC. And he loved Pepi, Lupo and pink cosmos. If you can’t join us, join us with a toast to Eduardo with a cosmo!
