Great Memories: Hot Guys and Railroad Tracks

I kept putting this off because it's a final goodbye. I lost track of Kathy back in 1995 and finally found her 10 years ago. I was so glad!

Kathy was my best friend and always will be. If we were not hanging out we were on the phone, thinking of ways to get in trouble. Like walking on the railroad tracks from Nyack to Sparkhill just to see some hot guys.

When we got home Kathy's mom said to us, "By the way, why were walking on the railroad tracks in Piermount?" See we chose the railroad tracks that run along the side of the mountain in the woods so we wouldn't get caught. So what the heck? Busted. We must have been 12 (Kathy) and 14 (me) back then. And we didn't even see the hot guys!

Just one of the things we did to get in trouble. But every Saturday Kathy made sure she went to confession. She had a lot to confess! I'm so glad I was not a Catholic.

I love you Kathy and I miss you.
