Joanne (Hogan) Housman, a lifelong resident of Rockland County, NY, passed away on June 21, 2017, at the age of 76.
She was born on September 20, 1940 to Dorothy and Paul Hogan. She was a graduate of Clarkstown High School North. She married Donald Housman on March 14, 1958. She is survived by her three loving children Coleen Bennett and son-in-law, Bob Bennett, Teri Wren, and Casey Housman, her 9 grandchildren DJ and his wife, Kate, Kelsey, and Caitlin Cummings, Brendan and Kayla Wren, Nicholas, Daniel, and Sofia Housman, and Jesse Goswick. Joanne is also survived by her great granddaughter, Ada Cummings, who brought a smile to her face up until her last day.
Viewing hours will be on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Hannemanns Funeral Home in Nyack, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital and/or United Hospice of Rockland.
