My Baba - can't believe you are really gone. When you are young you think your grandparents and parents will live forever. I have so many random memories of you, from your home, your cooking, your baking, singing at your church, your place and the times we spent in Connecticut ( the best), traveling to Europe with you, and just your overall love for your family. When I was little I used watch you sometimes from my kitchen window to see what you were up too or when I heard the outside door open to go to your apartment I would run to see where you were going. I always thought you were so cool for letting my friends stay at your place and allowing me to have parties there. Mom would make me ask you for permission and though I was nervous because I thought you would say no - you never did - so thank you. I also always wanted to say thank you for accepting Irma - who was my girlfriend at one point when so other family members didn't initially. Again mom made me tell you and I was so nervous of what you thought because it was a big deal but you didn't care and you didn't judge and that's what makes you so awesome - you put me at ease because you said I had to be happy. So thank thank you from the bottom of my heart Baba for that. Lastly your relationship with my daughter though short was just too precious and priceless. I am so happy she got to know at least one of her great grandparents and she absolutely adored you and asked about you all the time. Her face would light up when she heard your name and when she knew she was going to see you. I know you will always be watching over us and I definitely know you will always be with us and within her. Goodbye Baba - we will miss and you love always.
