Lance Carl  Owens
Lance Carl Owens was born to Loomis Owens, Sr. and Harriet J. Owens on August 30, 1951 at Nyack Hospital, New York. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

Lance went to Nyack High School and graduated in 1970. While in attendance, he played football and wore jersey number 7. After high school, he attended college in Mississippi. Lance also served proudly in the United States Army.

Lance was a gentleman, who could speak with grace and eloquence anywhere. The way he could string words together would make people sit up and take notice.

Lance is preceded by his father, Loomis Owens, Sr.; brother, Wayne A. Owens; sister, Saundra L. Owens.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Harriet J. Owens; sisters and brother, Janice Marie Owens, Harriet P. Owens, Loomis E. Owens, Jr., Elizabeth Coleman, Denise Owens, Donna McFarlane, Dreen Blacknall; children, Jada, Klover, Wayne, Shanequa and Tarlisha. In addition, Lance leaves 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren;. a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his loss.

We will all miss him and continue to love him dearly. Lance will always be remembered in our hearts.
