Obituary for Nancy Rauzzino
Nancy Rauzzino, passed away on May 18, 2021. Nancy was born in Bryn Mawr PA, but was raised and lived most of her life in West Nyack NY. She graduated from State University of New York Oneonta in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science degree. Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Felix and Sandra Rauzzino. She is survived by her loving brothers, Dr. Michael Rauzzino, wife Jill, niece Perry, and nephews Andrew, Spencer and Felix, all of Englewood CO and her brother Thomas Rauzzino, of Jacksonville FL. She will be lovingly missed by her cousins Dr. William Rauzzino of Linwood, NJ, Robert Rauzzino of Margate, NJ and Kathy and Dennis Thompson and nieces Katie Thompson and Jennifer Thompson and her husband Bobby, of Linwood, NJ.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends too numerous to list. Her kindness, generosity and sweet nature helped shape many of the children in her life, including Scotty and Aidan Riley and Faith and Nicole Ciavarella. Her love of family, children and animals (especially Golden Retrievers) touched all of our hearts. Nancy had a deep love of nature, gardening and landscaping, and some of her happiest times were working in her gardens. She was a diehard NY Giants fan and was never shy in giving her opinion on their performance. Nancy’s selfless nature, kindness and good humor influenced so many of our lives, and her passing will leave a hole in all of our hearts.
A Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday June 6, 2021 in Nyack. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a favorite charity.
