Lenora Fenton, affectionately known as “Lee”, was 58 years old when she passed away on September 14, 2021.

Lenora was born at Nyack Hospital on June 28, 1963 to the late Geneva and Andrez Fenton Sr. She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1982 and attended Rockland Community College. From high school she worked a multitude of jobs and consistently remained employed at Hudson Valley DDSO, formerly known as Letchworth Village, for 38 years. Lenora started as a therapy aide and ended as a residential supervisor while being cited with many awards for her hard work. She retired in September 2020. She enjoyed having a good time with her friends and family; the summertime was her favorite season when she gardened; and jamming out to music from Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross.

Lenora is predeceased by her parents, her brother Guilford Lee Fenton, and two of her good friends Penelope “Babydoll” Heath and Susan Harvey.

To mourn Lenora’s lost are her siblings: Daniel Fenton, Daphne Dupree, Andrez Fenton Jr., Vera Hill, Gloria Werner, Debra Fenton, Hannah Muzzi, and Edwina Lane; her children: James L. Floyd and Taliyah G. Gordon; her grandchildren: Jahkye T. Floyd, Jariah T. Floyd, and Ja’Leeah T. Floyd and their mother Kathryn Shepherd; her closest friends: Sylvia Ward, Deborah McGil, and Ana Cerna; her multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers, her many clients, and pets.

Funeral Services will be held at Hannemann Funeral Home Inc., 88 S Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960. The internment will take place at Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY, 10977. The repast will occur at Lenora’s house afterwards.
